Production line
From yarn package to inspected roll
Photographs from our plant in Deqing, in production order. Fiber creel, warping, UD forming, wind-up, inspection. Every shot is the line as it runs, not a staged set.
Step 01 / Creel
UHMWPE yarn packages loaded on the creel frame. Each position feeds one end into the sheet under set tension.
Step 02 / Creel room
Para-aramid creel room, with yarn packages staged for the warping line.
Step 03 / Warping
Warping. Hundreds of ends are drawn into one flat parallel sheet at even tension. Tension control here decides how straight the fiber sits in the finished UD layer.
Step 04 / UD forming
UD forming. The sheet is resin coated, dried and cross-plied at 0 and 90 degrees to build the unidirectional layer.
Step 05 / Wind-up
Finished para-aramid UD rolls. Standard width 1.6 m, length 100 m and up, wound continuous.
Step 06 / Inspection
Inspection before packing. Width, areal density and surface are checked roll by roll.
