What our fabric is made into

We sell fabric by the roll to factories that press it into finished protection. Three end uses cover almost every enquiry we receive. Each one asks a different question of the cloth, and each one has a different answer about what we can and cannot publish.

Why only one of the three carries protection levels

A soft armor panel is built almost entirely from the UD fabric itself, so a layer count and an areal density describe it usefully, and we have paid for the reports that prove it. A pressed helmet shell or a hard plate is a different object: its performance comes from your lay-up, your resin, your mould and your press cycle as much as from the cloth. We publish the fabric specification for those lines and leave the panel data to your own testing rather than quote a level we have not measured.
